Refund Policy

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.
Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

For a return to be approved, the product must be in the same condition as when you received it – unused, with any tags attached, and in the original packaging. You also need to provide a receipt or other proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, contact us via the chat bubble on the left side of the page or by email at info@kerstinsbutik.se.

If your return is approved, we will send instructions on how and where to return the package.
Please note that items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.
Returns must be sent as home delivery, not to a pickup point. Otherwise, the return will be considered invalid.
Any administrative fees for return handling will be added.

Defective or Incorrect Products

Check your order immediately upon receipt and contact us right away if the product is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item.
We will evaluate the case and ensure the appropriate action is taken, such as replacement, reshipment, or refund.


Products That Cannot Be Returned

Certain items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or special order products

  • Personal items and hygiene products (e.g., beauty products)

  • Gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a new item is to return the one you have and then place a new order once the return has been approved.


Right of Withdrawal within the EU

If your order is shipped to a country within the EU, you have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without any specific reason.
However, the product must be in the same condition as when you received it – unused, with tags attached, and in the original packaging.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the item has already been shipped from our warehouse and the order can no longer be stopped.


Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, you will receive confirmation whether the refund has been approved.
For approved returns, the refund will be made to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Please remember that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the transaction.

To cover administrative costs, a return fee of 150 SEK will be deducted from the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at info@kerstinsbutik.se.

According to the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), costs for shipping, payment fees, or other services already performed are not refunded.


Uncollected Packages

If a package is not picked up from the postal agent, the following fees will be charged:

  • 250 SEK plus 70 SEK per item

  • For order values over 800 SEK: 300 SEK plus 100 SEK per item

In some cases, we can resend the package, in which case only the shipping cost applies (usually about 150 SEK for 1–2 items).
For 4 or more items, an additional 200 SEK per extra item will be charged beyond the first.
