How to Use the Dog Jacket

Put the jacket over the dog’s back and close the zipper along the center. Make sure the fit is comfortable around the chest and neck without being tight. 1. Back length: Measure from the withers to the base of the tail. It is important that the dog stands in a normal, upright position with a straight back. Note that some garments are not designed to reach all the way to the base of the tail.

2. Neck circumference: Measure where the neck is widest, just below the base of the head.

3. Chest circumference: Measure around the dog’s chest where it is widest, usually just behind the front legs.
